Book match tickets in advance and check local rules re tickets. Some grounds you can't buy tickets on the day.
Peggy Guggenheim museum in Venice if you love Modern Art.
Don't order a Latte in Italy, you'll get milk.
Don't use the toilets at Hadjuk Split stadium.
Ditto Stadio Olimpico.
Ditto virtually every European Football grounds toilets.
Don't order fish in restaurants in Split. V expensive.
Don't ask Wilkie's on-tour valet to iron your socks.
Watch yourselves on the Barcelona Metro.
Ditto Naples buses.
Virtually every Church in Venice is a mini Art Museum.
Try and speak some local language.
Family run restaurants are the best. Everywhere.
Do your research. It can make things ; cheaper, faster, funner. It will save you time and and make everything run smoother. One person in your group may enjoy doing this.
Take responsibility. Don't let one person do everything.
