Trieste and Udinese

So, Along with Benevento ,I found Trieste absolutely captivating. Late November with the Xmas decorations up and balmy T-shirt wearing temperatures plus a brilliant local restaurant we called home. Photo opportunities aplenty. A surprising mixture of Mediterannean, Venitian and Eastern Bloc, very photogenic and clean and we were luckily enough visiting during a market/beer festival. I seem to recall we even found a bar that stayed open late when all else was closed and extended our fantastic trip. One to return to with Lin I think.
Our trip out to see Udinese. The day started dull and ended in a pea-souper and torrential rain for the match which must have been very close to being abandoned as vis was almost non-existant. The rain-soaked day ending with the brilliant restaurant we found in Trieste which even opened specially early for us to have lunch before we went to the airport. Lovely peeps.
