Natural comic, wit and raconteur,

Picture
yes those are some of the descriptions that you, of course, wouldn't use to describe Phil.
Master of the pun, proprietor of the cliche and re-cycler of ancient jokes, where does his comedic talent start? (dont ask me? , Ed)
Another sharp dressed man, fond of smoking jackets, jodphurs, silk dressing gowns and ciggarette holders. The double-eyepatch is just for show.
A renowned photographer and pictorial chronicler of Wilkie tours more photogenic destinations (but none passed on to me for publication, as yet, on this site).
Currently working on our "Wilkie Tours sign of approval" sticker. Four years in the design process it should be damn good when its done.

Picture
Dandy, bon-viveur, part-time hair-dresser. Quick to praise/slow to criticise ( that may be the wrong way round Ed). Respected for his match analysis and exhaustive play by play footy commentaries he knows as much about football as the next man. Well  Julian Clary anyway !
Phil has a love for Modern Art that he shares with Colin and Alan and especially enjoyed our visit to the magnificent Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice, (one of the all-time cultural high-lights of my Wilkie Tours, Ed).
Another of the Saints season ticket holders and hoping for a good end to this season.
Ex Player and  2nd team manager for O.S. he still plays 5-a-sides and has retained his fitness and love of the game throughout the years.

Picture
Often the centre of attention, Wilkie is very fond of Phil (see pic) at one stage offering to adopt him but that never quite worked out.
A proud family man, his son Miles is a chip off the old block though I'm not sure his has the same affinity with Jazz as Phil.
Phil presents a Jazz and Blues show on Hospital radio each week and is Chairman of Southampton Jazz Society  and this is backed by his  wide and informed taste in music.

Fave groups include;
The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain
All incarnations of Fairport Convention (featuring Ukulele only)
Blind  Willie Lemon ( king of the Ukulele)
Bozz Scaggs and Screaming Lord Sutch....................Dualing Ukulele's
Phil in three words. Jacket, sunglasses, camera !
