Flanders Away Day

Picture
Canadian Memorial
This is a sketchy description of what the boys did on tour from a conversation I had with Tony B whilst watching Eastleigh Town FC beat AFC Totton 2-0 in the Southampton Senior Cup on Wednesday night in a great game BTW.
OK, The Lads had a great 4 days away on a short hop over the Channel. Taking two cars and no flights made this a relatively stress-free trip (bar some navigational melt downs). They watched Lens play in a poor game in France but a much better game in the very complicated Begium play-offs. (Tony B spent 20 mins telling me the convuluted ins and outs of the games but I think I may have slipped in and out of a coma. Ghent apparently very beautiful. Nearly all the War related trips came off too and the lads bumped into some of the "Time Team" crew as they were doing some excavating and were given an impromptu half hour talk relating to "The Dig".

Captions give you a clue to pix as I don't really know much more.
