Yes Peeps, Saints still 2nd in PL

November 2014.
As Wilkie Tours return from the Czech Republic it's with the stunning news that Southampton's win at Hull keeps them second in the Premier League as we enter November. The boys will have enjoyed hearing that. Astonishing. They were trying to get to see a couple of games and no doubt cub reporter Tont will be filing his report soonish............................. ?????
With a Monday game all the results are thus. Wins for City, Newcastle, Spurs Arsenal Chelsea and West Brom and Sunderland.
Locally Bournemouth's 3-2 victory over South Coast rivals takes them 2nd as well. Pompey win and are mid table in Div 2.

ITaly Wins for Juve Napoli Parma Palermo Genoa Sampdoria and Lazio. Roma's defeat at Napoli means they are 3 points behind Juve now.
Spain Real Madrid go top As Barca beaten at home by a resurgent Celta de Vigo. There were no draws in La Liga this weekend and wins also for Eibar Athletic Bilbao Valencia Levante Elche Atletico Malaga and Getafe.
Germany Wins for Schalke Bayern Wolfsburg Hannover Hamburg Bremen Paderborn Freiburg and Monchengladbach who stay second. Bayern by 4 points.
France Marseille by 4 from PSG then Lyon.
Holland  PSV Ajax Feyenoord Twente all win . No Change PSV by 4 points.
The Leagues are starting to take shape as we approach the crucial Xmas period where games come thick and fast. Home YOUR team did well
Sunday 26 Oct.Apologies, somehow cannot add new updates in main body but have to go into previous update. This occurred after a Weebly update. A glitch somewhere ! ! ! Party time at Silvestri Acres Saturday . Ouch ! ! !
Well Southampton win again 1-0 over Stoke. West Ham beat City, Man U get v late draw v Chelsea. Wins for Newcastle at Spurs. Pochettino's team spluttering. Everton, Arsenal and Swansea. Liverpool held 0-0 by Hull.
Locally Bournemouth beat Blackpool 8-0, Portsmouth lose and Eastleigh win in FA Cup Q.
Spain Real beat Barca and go third Sevilla come back from 1-0 to beat Villarreal 2-1.
Italy Juve win Roma held by 4th place Sampdoria, Rafa Benitz's beleaguered Napoli rout Verona 6-2.
Germany Bayern And Munchengladbach draw 0-0. Our Faves Frankfurt score 4 goals at home...........................and LOSE 5-4. Ouch. Wolfsburg;s 3-0 win v Mainz takes them 3rd
Holland PSV ajax and Feyenoord all win
France Marseille lose at 3rd place Lyon and PSG 's victory takes them second.

It's Wilkie Tours pre Brno CURRY NIGHT tomorrow. Have a previous engagement but will try to pop in for a coffee and debrief late on

 Monday 20 Oct

Obviously it will end sometime but for the moment Southampton still 2nd and all the goals from Saturdays 2-1 win over QPR were great especially Graziano Pelle's stunning turn and volley. Chelsea look imperious but you feel Man City are building a head of steam
In the Premier League there were also wins for Chelsea Man City , Utd, Crystal Palace and WBA. North London Derby and Merseyside Derby end in 1-1 draws. Jagielka's screamer at Anfield gave Everton a last minute point. Liverpool still spluttering.

Locally Bournemouth Win well, Pompey goal-less at 3rd bottom Hatlepool. Eastleigh Town FC lose badly away at Wrexham and now 13th.

In Italy it's wins for Juve Roma Sampdoria and Udinese and that's how they stand.
In Spain it's big wins for Barca and Atletico and Ronaldo scores again for 5th place Real as they start to improve. Messi scores 400th  Barca goal.

In Germany Bayern trundle on but Monchengladbach go 2nd above Leverkusen.

in France it's Marseille Bordeaux Lille and PSG. Only PSG not winning.

In Holland  leaders PSV lose at Heerenveen, Ajax and Zwolle win.

Hope your teams did well.

Hi i'm Alan S. Ex-Ordnance Survey UK, ex-BAe Systems KSA, ex-Twinings UK. Currently at Coopervision UK. Actually my continuing illnesses did for me and my contract was ended, so now have retired ( sort of). Been Wilkie Touring since 2005. I Love "live" music and also "writing and playing" my own songs. Enjoy throwing parties. Oh Yeah, Going to Cinema and watching DVD's on PROJECTOR based "Home  Cinema" are essentials. Golf and Jazz and Jogging round things off. Would have been on more Tours but for recurring illness's ( Cellulitus and last 2 1/2 years Hip).

Travelling! Did I mention travelling? Oh, and photography too. I belong to the school of " take a 100 pix and one is bound to be good ( ask exasperated family and friends!).
