Ok , here we go. Hold on to your hats, it's going to be a bumpy ride.................but at least it will be an honest one now that Blatter has gone. He has gone hasn't he????
Ok. Locally first. Saint's get a late equaliser at Newcastle. Pelle scores again as does Mane. Yoshida's header should have won the game. New boys Bournemouth lose at home to Aston Villa. Not the best start. Pompey win.
We went to Silverlake Stadium to watch Eastleigh Town FC take on Boreham Wood after their great opening win at Southport. A strange lacklustre game that only came alive in the last 5 minutes when a rasping shot into the side-netting ( we thought it was in from the Stand) nearly gave Southport the lead but then straight up the other end and ETFC grab a very very late winner. Outstanding. Top of the league. While I slow motioned my way to a victory dance (lean) I heard my name being called. It was none other than Wilkie himself plus our very own Clive giving it some fist pumps! They try to get to a few games if they can when there's no clash. As I have Season Tickets for Saints and Eastleigh I'm hoping they don't clash too much.
Premiership. Surprise result as West Ham beat Arsenal 2-0 at the Emerates with Cech not having a good day. Utd just beat Spurs. I fell asleep watching that pile of manure. Watfor new boys get great draw at Everton but the other newbies Norch are thrashed at home by Palace. Liverpool also just edge Stoke. Chelsea can only manage a draw with Swansea after goalkeeper Courtois is sent off. Mourinho covers himself in manure for criticising female team Doctor for attending to Hazzards injury thus bringing Chelsea down to 9 men momentarily. What an utter pillock. Totally lost all respect for him. Sunderland beat Leicester 4-2.
Ok will start cherry picking European Results shortly when all countries are "live".
Will be at St Mary's Saturday for the early start then winging my way to see Eastleigh at 3:00. Later.
