Still Drs have trebled my Anti-biotics dosage in last 4 days and that has stabilised things and defo on the mend.
Well I haven't really been too interested in football during this time but have been processing things after the fact.
Saints have started pretty badly but there are glimmers of light with the attacking options provided by Ings and Austen tho defensive frailties have haunted the team as per usual. ETFC have been erratic but some good away results have turned a poor start around. Local rivals Bournemouth and Portsmouth have had pretty good starts.
As for Europe I haven't had a chance or inclination to check up as of yet. Part of the reason was the horrific events in Italy with the collapse of the bridge a few weeks back. As I start to feel better will revisit Wilkie Tours haunts and previous visits and my "Local" teams in Italy near our home there. SOON !
The legend that is Tony's piece about the Classico de Campeones has spurred me to research an article about the Confederations Cup. I was lucky to see all but two games of the whole tournament when it was held in Saudi Arabia, in 1997 I think, while I was working for British Aerospace and perhaps also a few tales of the Football Tours I had with the BAE football club around the Middle East. OMG some crazy memories there ( some to do with the football too ! ! ! ).
I think i'm back.......therefore I AM >>>>
