Europa League- What a game, what a result ! !

Saints took on Inter Milan at St Mary's on Thursday trying to avenge their 1-0 loss at the San Siro  previously. The atmosphere was amazing with all fans given flags to wave. It looked incredible and Saints started on the front foot and as per recent games dominated position but couldn't score and lo and behold fell behind to renegade player Icardi's bundled goal. Half time was a muted affair but the second half Southampton came out with renewed vigour and soon levelled through the Awesome defensive power-house that is Virgil van Dijk and as they pressed harder and harder Nagatoma was unlucky to divert a cross into his own net to seal victory for Southampton. Phew what a scorcher.
