Hearty congratulations to Crystal Palace on their play-off victory over a nervous/stuttering Watford to cement their position in the Premier League. What can you say about that consummate pro, Kevin Phillips? Mr cool despatched the penalty that settled the game in injury time and gave Palace the win after a disastrous spell around the time when Ian Holloway took over and they couldn't string any form together! But they rallied and the Holy Grail of English football has been attained.
La Liga not quite finished yet ( 1st June). Barca won 2-0 on Sunday and Real were 3-2 ahead with 10mins to go but Prieto scored a 93 min Equaliser for Real Sociedad.
