Well, as the football season slowly but surely comes to end, in the next week or so, it,s time for reflection. ( please don't reflect Al, you know what happened last time ! ! ! Ed). On Wednesday we have the Pre-Flanders Phal at an undisclosed Curry House in Shirley and next seasons touring schedule will be discussed. I now have a major commitment in Italy which will require me to go there at least 3 times every year plus a commitment to go to Cyprus as well so my ability to "Wilkie-tour" will be severely limited. It may be I can make just one trip a year if I'm lucky. We'll see. This will mean I will become "C" team player and be treated like a leprous outsider by the other Wilkie-tourers, and forced to walk 10 paces behind them and drink Latte a minimum of three tables removed and have my Parmesan sprinkling privileges removed completely. This will not stop me touring and reporting on these Quixotic forays into Europe I assure you. Onwards. Huzzah! ! !

AuthorHi i'm Alan S. Ex-Ordnance Survey UK, ex-BAe Systems KSA, ex-Twinings UK. Currently at Coopervision UK. Actually my continuing illnesses did for me and my contract was ended, so now have retired ( sort of). Been Wilkie Touring since 2005. I Love "live" music and also "writing and playing" my own songs. Enjoy throwing parties. Oh Yeah, Going to Cinema and watching DVD's on PROJECTOR based "Home Cinema" are essentials. Golf and Jazz and Jogging round things off. Would have been on more Tours but for recurring illness's ( Cellulitus and last 2 1/2 years Hip). Categories |
